WE Share Good News of Jesus
The Bible tells of great hope from the distant past resulting in the life of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us of the most amazing event in history - the birth of Jesus. The Bible tells us what it cost Jesus to be who He was and do what He did for us. Mark 1:14-15 - "Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God. 'The time has come,' He said. 'The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the Good News!'"
Knowing Jesus as the Lord
Some people are unwilling to believe that Jesus is Lord because they serve other other gods and don't want to submit to God's authority He was "...declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 1:4. His resurrection proves that"He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him" Hebrews 7:25. Acts 2:36 - "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." Isaiah 44:6 - "This is what the LORD says... 'I am the first and I am the last; apart from Me there is no God.'"
Many Convincing Proofs
"A week later His disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, 'Peace be with you!' Then He said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.' Thomas said to Him, 'My Lord and my God!' Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed'" John 20:26-29.
We Here to Help
Are you ready for a refreshingly different approach? The Good News honestly faces just how weak and helpless we are. It shows that none of us is 'good enough' to earn the right to live close to God. Our imperfections are the opposite of His perfection. Our weakness is the opposite of His strength. Our faults are the opposite of His goodness and holiness. We are in no condition to take ourselves to happiness, let alone to heaven. This is one of the clearest messages from the Bible. "As it is written: 'There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one'" Romans 3:10-12.
"God raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church" Ephesians 1:20-22.
Love That Gives
Sharing is an important part of the new life in God. There is a simple reason for this. God, in His own character, is so caring that John says, "God is love" (1 John 4:8). The nature of love is to give. As we grow spiritually, we too take on God's giving nature. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth" 1 John 3:16-18.
